This bag was a custom order, from a friend who likes owls even more than me!! haha.
The owl is made from sweat shirting, fleece and felt. The bag has several pockets and is made from a well wearing cotton drill

Record bowls.

I love making use of old rubbishy things. Lucky it's a fad now aye.

 

Record bowls are so simple to make. Pop them into a warm oven over the top of a oven proof bowl (or whatever you have) for a couple of minutes (like 8  or so)

Pull it out and either with oven mitts (or nothing if your hands are like mine) mold it into the bowl or into shape that you want it to be. The vinyl is super pliable and if it doesn't quite go as planned you just get it all hot again.

The fumes from the vinyl isn't exactly good for you so some ventilation is good. I haven't ever had any problems but it's better to be safer than sorry...

 

We use our bowls for holding keys and money. Little bits and pieces. They would be good for wrapped lollies or that kind of thing. You just have to remember that 1; they have a small hole in them and 2; they aren't exactly the easiest thing to clean/wash.

Fluffy the Owl
This owl is so soft and fluffy, hence her name. She was a bit fluffly to make with lots of sneezes. The love she gets makes it all worth it. She's quite tall. Around 40cms. Fleece eyes and her under wing matches her heart, awwww.

Dresses for little girls

 

I love dresses. I love that my 2 daughters love dresses. I love that I have 2 girls. I also have always loved dolls.....haha. Understand what I'm saying.

This dress I made solely to sell. It's made of a woollen kind of material. It can be used as a tunic as well as fitting as a dress. So so versatile and a pattern I love on girls 

 

I made this for a nieces 4th birthday. Simple A-line skirt with felt hearts and matching headband.

 

This dress was for my littlest girls 2nd birthday. It's made from a stretch cord so it's super comfy and a bit excessively cute!

 

This tunic was made from a very out of date maternity dress, it has so far lasted for both my daughters, first as a dress then as a tunic. The skull is felt and the bow gives it a super cute girly touch doesn't it.

 

Studded skirt for my little rebel. Easy to wear elasticated waist and the super stand out bright red looks awesome with the brown houndstooth checkers

Kiddy hat.

 

I very very rarely follow a store brought pattern when I make anything, I prefer to make my own. This often means I make a few mistakes with the first attempts....Not to many with this hat though! First ever try at sewing a hat. It worked out pretty perfect. Now how do you get a 2year old to keep her hat on....
